Saying her actions do not qualify her as a superhero, Lynda Carter, who of course played Wonder Woman in the 1970’s TV series, found a dead body in Washington D.C.’s Potomac River.

The 56 year old actress was boating in the river last week when she spotted the body. But alas, instead of using super-powers, Carter instead asked some nearby fishermen to call the police. She then waited until officers arrived to lead them to the body. Police later identified the person as 47 year old Helen Johnstone of Washington. Authorities are continuing their investigation and have not determined the cause of death yet.
The former Wonder Woman told reporters she’s not a superhero. She simply did what “anybody would have done.”
I must admit I’m a little disappointed that she doesn’t think she’s a superhero. If finding a dead body makes you a superhero, then I could be one today. When I came into the radio station this morning I found a dead mouse body!
Ick!
Maybe I should have called Wonder Woman for some help.
In search of a superhero,
