36th Annual Annie Awards
The Annie Awards will be presented on January 30th, 2009 at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles. Even though the award season still seems a long way away, Kung Fu Panda is poised to become a big winner during the upcoming award season. The Jack Black animated flick received a leading 17 nominations for the 36th Annual Annie Awards. The Annie’s honor animation in the film, TV and video game industries. Kung Fu Panda is a contender for Best Animated Feature alongside the likes of Bolt and WALL-E. Kung Fu Panda cast members Dustin Hoffman, Ian McShane and James Hong also earned individual nominations for the movie.
