More Than Robots & Computer Networks

Just in case you’re wondering, Terminator Salvation isn’t the only option at your area movie theater for Memorial Day weekend. The sci-fi action film, which opened yesterday, is going head to head with the 2006 Ben Stiller hit Night at the Museum. Honestly, the 2006 museum flick was a surprise hit. I do believe it caught many people by surprise with it’s incredible box office run.

In yet another weekend surprise, even though Terminator Salvation got a jump on the competition by opening yesterday, Battle of the Smithsonian is opening on approximately 500 more screens than the fourth Terminator installment. I thought it would be the other way around. Or at least a little more even.

The new Star Trek movie is expanding this weekend too. The relaunch of that space franchise picks up an additional 193 screens, for a total of 4,053 screens.
