Four New Flicks To Choose From

lloyd-director

Another weekend has arrived and that means it’s time for another batch of new movies to hit the big screen.

What’s on tap for this weekend, really, not much.

If you’re looking for something new, you have two R-rated and two PG-13 movies to choose from. If it’s scary you like, there’s murder in the Antarctica or a killer chasing girls. Tyler Perry hits the big screen again with another Madea flick. It’s too bad Perry has nothing else in his creative toolbox. Madea is really getting tired. Last, but certainly not least, Tim Burton’s animated darkness is on the big screen again this weekend too.

If nothing new tickles your fancy, maybe you’d like something on the funny side. That leads to my weekend pick – All About Steve. It’s the latest Sandra Bullock flick which opened last weekend. While it’s not as strong as her earlier summer hit The Proposal, it is fun as Bullock heads back to her comedy roots.
