I clearly stated this is not a G movie and is not meant for young kids, especially a 7 year old. I said it's "cautionary family-friendly" at best. I said time and time again this is not for the young crowd. As a matter of fact I even said - and I quote - "If anything this is more of a PG-13 movie". To say I'm defending the rating is way off base. I submit to you, that if you went and saw "A Christmas Carol" <em>after</em> reading this review, then you have no one else to blame than yourself for the nightmares. This review clearly outlines the fact this is not appropriate for a 7 year old. Did you read this review “before” or “after” you took your 7 year old to see the movie?

I swear I saw PG - so was the meatballs movie. so was home alone. And we didnt find those movies scary. But this was definitely PG 13. After 2 minutes of starting the movie I asked kids do you want to go, and they said it is not scary.My 7 yr old cannot sleep. They made a scary 3 D movie and called it Pg and are you defending it. I am 34 and I am having nightmares about the ghory scenes in there. cant believe you are defending that rating!
