Blue People Still #1 At Box Office
James Cameron and the rest of his crew are still laughing all the way to the bank! For a seventh straight week Avatar held onto the number one box office spot pulling in an estimated $30 million dollars. The sci-fi flick has now earned an approximate $594.5 million, which is about $6 million behind the number one all time money making movie, Titanic.
Meanwhile, in the “Also Playing This Weekend” category, Edge of Darkness, with Mel Gibson in his first starring role on the big screen in over seven years, debuted in the number two spot. The romantic comedy When In Rome grabbed the number three spot.
