Wall Street Downfall Tops Box Office List

A movie depicting the downfall of Wall Street grabs the top stop in the box office for it’s debut weekend. Greed was good enough to win the box office. Oliver Stone’s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, starring Michael Douglas as the financial know-it-all Gordon Gekko stormed the #1 Box Office spot over the weekend.

The animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole debuted in the number two spot while last weeks #1 flick slipped to third place in the top 10 listings. Meanwhile, the new Kristen Bell comedy You Again ended up in the middle of the pack for it’s debut weekend. And of course coming as absolutely no surprise at all, the new Will Ferrell produced movie The Virginity Hit flopped it its first three days of release pulling in a mere $300,000 in 700 theaters. Again, the Ferrell flop should come as no surprise. Once again we discover Ferrell is nothing more than a Hollywood-hack who is not a big screen draw at all. It’s time for him to hang up his acting shoes and find another line of work.
