Four Wide Release Movie – One Expanding To Wide Release

As the end of the year rapidly approaches, which means the awards season will soon be upon us, it’s time for the entertainment world to dump tons of movies onto the market. Of course this is all in the hopes of those who vote for the awards will remember their movie and give it some kind of a kudo. With the award season right around the corner it’s very interesting to watch nominations. For example, one movie opening this weekend – in other words this is the debut weekend for the movie – it’s already picking up nominations. How can this be? If it’s not on the big screen yet, how can it be nominated for anything.

Up for the nomination this year – well not quite nominated yet but Hollywood is trying to make it a hit – Black Swan – While it’s still in limited release, no matter what Hollywood says, it is expanding to a few more screens this weekend.
