Christmas Release Movies Still Top Box Office

Let the New Year Begin!

Little Fockers is the first movie to earn the top spot at the box office in 2011. The Ben Stiller, Robert DeNiro flick was number one for the second weekend in a row. Since it’s release during Christmas week the third  movie in the Fockers franchise has pulled in an estimated $103.2 million dollars.

True Grit grabbed the second place spot for the box office. The western remake is now the highest-grossing Coen brothers film, having earned a total of $86.8 million to date.
