Animation Sure To Rule Box Office This Weekend
For about the next month we will actually have a decent crop of movies opening every weekend. But, while the month of July looks good, don’t get too excited as a drought is soon to follow.
But, that’s coming in the future, what’s going on this weekend…
The much anticipated sequel to the Disney/Pixar blockbuster burns rubber onto the big screen this weekend as Cars 2 opens today. The voice cast is the same for the car stars and be listening for some new voices along the way too in this spy type movie as the race takes the animated speed thrill riders overseas. While Cars 2 is sure to dominate the Box Office, the only other movie opening this weekend is the R rated Cameron Diaz flick Bad Teacher.
New On The Big Screen

In this Disney/Pixar sequel, the tow truck Mater, voiced by Larry the Cable Guy, is caught up in a spy mission as he tries to help his buddy, Owen Wilson’s Lightening McQueen, in a high-profile race. Joe Mantegna, Peter Jacobson, Tony Shalhoub and Michael Cane also lend their voices to this animated movie.
Bad Teacher – Rated R on 3,049 screens
Cameron Diaz is a mean-spirited teacher who woos a rich substitute teacher so she can quit her job and live the high life. Justin Timberlake, Jason Segel and Lucy Punch also star.
