Transformers Continues Box Office Dominance

The third movie in the Transformers franchise continues to dominate the box office when it comes to pulling in the big bucks. Dark of the Moon is now the year’s highest-grossing film to date as it earned another estimated $47 million over the weekend. That means the robotic film has now racked in approximately $261 million in the United States. That passes The Hangover Part II as the year’s biggest money maker.

Meanwhile, Horrible Bosses starring Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell and Jason Bateman debuted in the number two spot for the weekend box office with the new Kevin James flick Zookeeper debuted in the third spot.
