The Vow Debuts Atop The Box Office
With Valentine’s Day upon us tomorrow, moviegoers got a jump on the romance by checking out The Vow making it the number one box office movie for its debut weekend. It was actually a good weekend for debut movies at the box office as Safe House, Journey 2 and the re-release of Star Wars in 3D all grabbed the top box office slots from one through four.

- Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – $27.6 million
- Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (3D re-release) – $23 million
- Chronicle – $12.3 million
- The Woman in Black – $10.3 million
- The Grey – $5.1 million
- Big Miracle – $3.9 million
- The Descendants – $3.5 million
- Underworld Awakening – $2.5 million
